Good Morning Grizzlies! If you are near the garden today stop by and see what veggies you can find. I'm thinking tomatoes! We ask that you please do not pick the peppers, cantaloupe and gourds (which are hanging from the fence). If you find any grapes, they too, are not ready to eat. But please enjoy the tomatoes 🍅

I stopped at the garden today. We have some string beans, if anyone wants some. The tomatoes need to ripen. The peppers are too small and so are the cantaloupes. Please do not pick them.

Feel free to pull the weeds though. There are are plenty of them!

We will soon be getting veggies from the Grizzly Garden. Please check this website to see if they are mature before picking or if the are going to be used by certain student or community groups. For example, the potatoes, grapes and peppers will not be ready for harvest until the beginning of September. Thank you!

Atlanticare and the LPGA players were in the garden planting vegetables and marigolds today. A big thank you for all that you do. Without your support our students would not enjoy our Jersey freshness. Good things are growing at the Grizzly Garden! 🐾 Respect the Paw. 🍅🥒🍆🥕🌶. Good Luck to all the lady golfers!

Hello Facebook friends. Last week potatoes were harvested from the Grizzly Garden. The potatoes were left in Mrs. Oliver's room. The middle school multiple handicapped class had plans to make potato soup. Unfortunately they were not able to make their soup because someone took the potatoes out of Mrs. Oliver's room. We enjoy sharing fresh vegetables out of the garden, however when someone takes them without asking that's a problem. If you took the potatoes please return them to Mrs. Oliver's room. And don't forget that there are cameras throughout the school. 😉Thank you!😠

I know that there will be lots of ripe tomatoes in the garden come Monday. Feel free to stop by and pick some. There are grape and cherry tomatoes, plum tomatoes, orange tomatoes and also the larger Big Daddy and Big Boys. Please also help yourself to some hot peppers and yellow squash. Stop at the GTMS office to let people know what you are doing and enjoy!
