The Gallia County Health Department, Gallipolis, Ohio, is a public agency whose purpose is to promote the health of the people and to prevent or control disease through its numerous services. To reach our mission, we must strive to maintain and protect the health of residents through control of communicable disease, management of the environment, education of the community in health promotion, pr

evention of illness and chronic disease, and providing health care services in the home and other settings in the community. We have and will continue to implement programs that focus on prevention, identification and detection of early signs of disease, referral, health care continuity, and interagency collaboration.

We are still smiling about the Healthy Kick Start! ๐Ÿ’š

A huge thank you to all of the agencies, community partners, volunteers, and sponsors who helped make this event possible. A shoutout to our sponsors: APG Polytech, LLC; CareSource; The Joe Burrow Foundation; Robin Fowler โ€“ State Farm; Ohio Valley Bank; Thomas Do It Center; JT Thorpe; and a very special friend of the Health Department, for their generous support.
