The Gallatin Department of Electricity (GDE) provides electric service to the citizens of Gallatin, Our office hours are 7am to 4pm, Monday through Friday.

The Tennessee Valley Lineman Rodeo brings together lineworkers from across the region to showcase the safety, skill, and knowledge required in their profession. The event also provides an opportunity for family, friends, and communities to support the men and women who help keep the lights on every day.

GDE will have lineworkers competing both individually and as a team this year. In preparation for the competition, our crew has been practicing alongside Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation , another great example of how public power utilities support one another.

Our team is headed to Florence, Alabama, on June 5-6, and we're proud to have them representing Gallatin. If you're in the area, come out and support the GDE team. We wish them the best of luck!
