COLD WEATHER NOTICE from PWSD #3:

Here are a few tips to consider given the cold blast coming this weekend.

For residents whose homes are susceptible to pipes freezing, leave faucets dripping, open cabinet doors so pipes are exposed to heat, check that furnaces are in good working order, and be sure there is sufficient propane in your tank. Part-time residents might want to consider turning off water to the house in their absence, or asking a neighbor to check the home periodically. It is also recommended you remove hoses from outdoor spigots and hydrants when temperatures fall below freezing, and be sure your meter lid is laying flat on top of the meter pit to keep cold air out. If your pipes do freeze, remember that leaks and/or breaks will not be noticeable until thawing occurs.

UPDATE on Water Outage:

The following lots will be without water until noon: 36,37,45,47,51,54,55,56,58,1035,1037,1056, and10005. A 48hr precautionary boil advisory will be in place for these locations once service is restored. Continue to monitor the PWSD #3 and Lake Viking Official Group pages for any updates.

NOTICE to PWSD #3 Customers:

On the most recent billing, information was highlighted to inform our customers that the district offers both Auto Pay and eBill, and to contact the office if interested. Many customers who were already signed up for these services have called to inquire if something has changed on their account. There has been NO CHANGE to customer accounts - the highlighted message was meant to encourage anyone NOT on Auto Pay or eBill to sign up for these services going forward. I just wanted to provide some clarification.

LAKE WIDE BOIL ADVISORY ANNOUNCEMENT:

Due to the two large leak repairs that have occurred today, one on each side of the lake, we are issuing a 48hr precautionary boil advisory to the entire lake which will end at 4pm Saturday, 10/11/25. This is a boil advisory, not a boil order. A link is attached below to provide information to our residents. A robo call will be sent to all metered residents with current phone information in our system. If you do not receive a call, please let me know so we can update your contact information.

A boil water order is issued by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to public water systems when a threat to the public health exists, or is likely to exist, that boiling the water will remedy. WATER OUTAGE NOTICE:

Due to a second leak on the east side of the lake this morning, the following METERED lots will be without water from approximately 10:30am to 1:30pm. The lots are: 5,6,7,8,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,21,22,24,26,28,30,32,1010,1012,1017,1023 and 1026. Once service is restored, a precautionary 48hr boil advisory will be issued. Low water pressure from flushing or cloudy water from air in the lines may occur after the repair is completed.

A second leak near lot #10 close to the VVA office has occurred. We are aware of the issue and will be valving off the lines soon for repair. Continue to watch the PWSD #3 and Lake Viking Official pages for updates. A robo call will be made to anyone in the affected area once that information is given to me.

These lots are: 625,626,627,628,630,631,632,633,635,636,638,639,641,642,644,647,648,1846,2320,2323,2591,Z9,Z13 and Campground #2. Once service is restored, a precautionary 48hr boil advisory will be issued. Low water pressure from flushing or cloudy water from air in the lines may occur after the repair is completed. A robo call will be made shortly to all affected lot owners.

Due to an emergency water line repair, the following Metered lots will be without water for the next few hours: lots 625,626,627,628,630,631,632,633,635,636,638,639,641,642,644,647,648,1846,2320,2323,2591,Z9,Z13 and Campground #2. Once service is restored, a precautionary 48hr boil advisory will be issued. Low water pressure from flushing or cloudy water from air in the lines may occur after the repair is completed. The phone lines are currently down at the water district but you can email questions to [email protected] until the phone line is repaired. A robo call has been made to all affected lot owners.

NOTICE for PWSD #3 Customers on eBill:

The hyperlink on the recent ebilled statements was directing customers to the old payment portal address which was recently deactivated. Our billing software tech support has now corrected the issue for future ebilled statements. If you receive an error when clicking on the link displayed in your latest ebilled statement, enter https://pwsd3daviess.epayub.com manually in a browser which will take you directly to the portal for payment. If you have any questions or problems, call 660-663-2771.
