Hi there,
Pardon me for not saying a real thank you sooner. I just needed a break from Facebook and social media. Between running for mayor, the night time Trick or Treat, and news, I needed to unplug.

Thank you all for your support. My wife told me about some guy trying to make fun of me and about you all jumping in to defend me. Thanks, but it’s not surprising someone did that, the weak will always try and teardown the strong.

I knew that this was going to be a long shot. I mean I’ve only been in the city\state for 2 years. Not everyone is willing to take a shot on an unknown. A more conservative move would have been to run for city council first, get my name out there and then run for mayor. But I’m a lot like Babe Ruth, I’ll strike out more times then I hit, but when I do… oh boy.

Knowing that you all decided to take a chance means the world to me. I was the only candidate that could say 99% of my votes are from strangers who believe in me. This isn’t the last you will hear from me. I have a few ideas in the works to hopefully help keep Brian honest. I truly do hope he is an honorable man that will help the city more than himself.

I have truly enjoyed going out and meeting people door to door. I had some really good conversations and some bad ones, lol. All in all, I did learn that Galion is more than the Facebook hate group. There are some tolerant people in this city. Their voices are just not as loud. That’s okay, if need me I can be load for them.

A special thanks you to my wife, Lindsay, who supported me on this crazy adventure even through it kept an added strain on our family.

Questions that I have not seen anyone ask about Mr. Palmer.

Did he leave his post as Director of Law early? We’re voting for this position this year and I know he was the Law Director last year.

If he has all these great ideas to help Galion, why hasn’t he put them in place before now? He has 2 family members on city council and he was the Law Director. Couldn’t he get his agendas through with this much inside help?

Halloween trick or treating was great. Instead of going door to door, door to door came to me. lol.

Hello new people.

Best custom was the Amish Ghostface. Does thy likith scary oral renderings?

I as got a very big boost. A few months back there was a note left on my door saying thank you for putting up the unity flag and letting people like me know that there are some in this city that don't hate me.

Yesterday she showed up trick or treating to introduce herself and say thank you again.

Win or lose I will continue fighting for everyone in Galion. This city needs to be a place where everyone can feels safe, secure, and wanted.

The Grenfell's have voted. I'm pretty sure I now have 2 votes! Even wrote in Lindsay Grenfell for the 3rd school board position.

I just found out Galion has a new FREE online paper. https://galioncharter.com/

They are wrapping up doing video interviews of all the mayoral candidates and will be posting them soon.

Totally unsolicited shout out, but check out the mayoral videos and the paper. Lets help make this a source for Galion news.

First off I will say our utility department did a good job restoring power after a car hit this pole. From talking to the people power was back on within a few hours late Saturday night.

One thing I do wish is that that night or following day they put up cones and a sign around the pole, left note on peoples doors letting them know they will be back. A little more communication since power pole looks ready to fall. The line to keep it stable is the side it's going to fall.

Good work, but the city can do better.
