The City of Galion is very lucky to have several civic clubs that often donate to the City's safety services and other important organizations for the betterment of Galion.

I want to send a special thank you to the Galion Moose Lodge for their recent donation that will go towards our EMS/UTV project that will allow us to render care to off road places such as the bike trail, our reservoirs, Heise Park, and many others.

Additionally, the VFW recently donated funds to be used to purchase two new video laryngoscopes which will aid in delivery life saving airway care to our residents in need.

We are appreciative beyond words to these awesome organizations.

GFD is saddened to learn of the loss of long time Polk Twp Fiscal Officer Pat Rondon. She has be an instrumental figure in the relationship between Galion Fire Department and Polk Twp for many years. She will be missed.

Toys will be available beginning at 9 a.m. until gone. They have a recommended age range of 2-8. Go to the garage located behind the Fire Station. Toys will be given on a first come-first served basis.

Toys will be available on Friday, Dec. 23, from 9 a.m. until gone. They have a recommended age range of 2-8. Go to the garage located behind the Fire Station (signs will be posted). Toys will be given on a first come-first served basis, even if there is inclement weather.
