The Galeton Borough would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Gale Foundation for providing the funding that made it possible for us to purchase a sewer truck.

This investment helps ensure our borough crew has the equipment they need to work safely and efficiently while continuing to provide reliable service to our community. We are incredibly thankful for the Gale Foundation’s support and commitment to helping make Galeton a better place for everyone.

We are SO excited to see the grand opening of the splash pad by our very dear friends at Galeton Parks & Recreation! 🎉💦☀️

This has been a long project in the making, and their team worked incredibly hard to turn this vision into reality. From planning to problem solving and everything in between, their dedication truly paid off.

We’re thrilled to see another amazing addition to our community and cannot wait to watch families, kids, and visitors enjoy it all summer long. Congratulations to everyone involved—you should be proud of what you accomplished! 💙🌊

A huge THANK YOU to our Borough crew for all of their hard work during today's cleanup day! Their dedication and effort helped make this annual event another great success.

We would also like to thank all of our residents for following the rules, being patient, and doing their part to make cleanup day run smoothly. Community cooperation is what makes events like this possible year after year.

Because of everyone's teamwork, our town is looking cleaner, brighter, and even more beautiful than before! We are proud to live and work in such a wonderful community.

Have an old chair that's seen better days? A mysterious box in the basement that nobody has opened since 1997? Tomorrow is your chance to say goodbye! 👋

📍 Bring your unwanted junk to the Borough Garage
🕗 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

This is a great opportunity to spruce up your property, clean out the clutter, and keep your home looking its best. Plus, it's a lot easier to haul away your junk than to explain it to the Ordinance Officer later! 😉🚔

And one more thing... please be extra kind to the cleanup crew. They're giving up part of their Saturday and working overtime to help make our community look great. A smile, a wave, and a "thank you" go a long way! 👏😊

Let's work together to keep our borough clean, beautiful, and junk-free (at least until the next garage sale)!

A huge thank you to GBMaxSigns for the outstanding work they continue to do for our community! We are fortunate to work with them on a variety of projects, and they always deliver quality work that helps make Galeton look its best.

Most recently, GBMax Signs created the new signage for the Galeton Police Department and installed the brand-new decals on our borough vehicles. We think they turned out great and looking very official!

When you see the vehicles around town, be sure to check out the decals. We're especially proud to share that the design was created by our very own Chief of Police and Borough Crew member, Joey Cimino. That's right—Chief Cimino isn't just keeping the community safe and helping keep the borough running smoothly, he's also our graphic designer, too!

A huge THANK YOU to local resident Ashley Zengerle for having eagle eyes while out walking with her family around Berger Lake! 👀📱

Ashley spotted a lost cell phone that belonged to our crewman, Ray, and helped reunite him with it after it had been missing since last week while cleaning up around the lake. While Ray says he “enjoyed being unplugged” for a few days, we’re pretty sure he’s happy to have his phone back. 😂

And perhaps MOST thankful of all… the Borough secretary is thrilled she does NOT have to reset yet another phone this year. 😅
