The Harlem Township Board of Trustee is being asked to consider the following:

Revisions in Articles IV and ###V

The hearing is scheduled for July 15, 2026, at 7:40 PM at the Harlem Township Building, 3883 South State Rt 605, Galena, Ohio 43021.

These meetings are open to the public and currently available on Zoom. Public comments will be allowed at the beginning and end of each Board of Trustees meeting, as well as during any public hearing. Attendees are encouraged to use the time at the beginning of the meeting to provide comments on agenda items, as time will not be available for audience discussion while the business portion of the meeting is in session.

Harlem Township has officially adopted a new community brand!

Over the coming months, you'll begin seeing a new community brand throughout township communications, signage, and events.

With the help of strategic communications firm Krile Communications, who completed Township tours, interviews, and online surveys, the Township has a new logo, color and font scheme, and tagline.

The historic school bell that still stands proudly in the Township was given a prominent place in the logo. While the school itself is gone, the bell remains a symbol of the people, traditions, and shared history that continue to make Harlem Township special. It serves as a reminder of where we came from and the strong community connections that still define Harlem Township today.

The bell logo is paired with our new community tagline, "When you're here, you're home." This tagline represents the values residents identified throughout the branding process: belonging, authenticity, hard work, and community.
