Centerpoint Energy gas crews are currently working to repair a broken gas line in the area of 14th and Crown. There is currently no danger to the community but residents may smell an odor of natural gas in the area.

The flare to the South of Galena Park is from Invista Houston located at Allen Genoa and La Porte Freeway. They suffered a plant upset around 4pm today. There is no threat to Galena Park. Want to recieve updates from plants sign up here:

This is a courtesy message from INVISTA Houston located at Allen Genoa and La Porte Freeway in Houston. Today is _12-31-25___. We are currently using our safety flare and steam venting systems due to a process unit upset and nearby neighbors may be able to see the flare and hear the steam venting system. The flaring and steam venting pose no danger to the community and no action is necessary. We will take every precaution to minimize the flaring conditions and duration of the flaring activity.
