Montgomery County CERT Montgomery County, MD CERT, managed by Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service, is prepared to offer assistance & educational services to our community

The Montgomery County, Maryland Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program is managed by Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service. Montgomery County CERT members are trained in basic disaster response skills - fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization and disaster medical operations. They are prepared to provide critical assistance to others in their neighborhoods or workplace

following an event when professional responders are not immediately available to help. Additionally, Montgomery County CERT members perform safety education and emergency preparedness projects in the community.

Heat across the Southern Plains will expand north and east through the middle of next week as ridging builds across most of the East. Widespread high temperatures in the upper 80s and 90s and above average low temperatures will bring Moderate to isolated Major heat risk.
