June 6 was a perfect day for a field trip to Carroll Creek Park. Our Worldshine Frederick members spent the day walking along the park trails, enjoying the fresh air, and taking in the peaceful scenery.

Between the lovely weather, relaxing environment, and time spent together, the outing brought plenty of movement, conversation, and happy moments. It was a simple but meaningful day that supported wellness, connection, and joy. 💚

Rolling up something colorful at Worldshine Frederick! ✨

Everyone got hands-on making tortilla pinwheels with cream cheese, green onions, bell peppers, cheese, lemon juice, sour cream, and more. After choosing their favorite fillings, they rolled the tortillas tightly, sliced them into bite-sized pieces, and enjoyed tasting their own creations together.

It was a simple recipe, but a fun way to try something new and share a tasty moment.

Today at Worldshine, we marked International Nurses Day with sincere appreciation for our nursing team.

Our Nurse Manager shared thoughtful remarks on the quiet but essential role nurses play each day—keeping care organized, supporting medical appointments, managing medications, checking vitals, and making sure our members are safe and comfortable.

We also took a moment to present flowers 🌸 as a small gesture of thanks for the consistency, patience, and care they bring to their work.

It was a simple celebration, but an important one. Happy International Nurses Day to our wonderful nurses at Worldshine. ✨

Library Day = Best Day!

Our Worldshine members had such a fun adventure at C. Burr Artz Library! From the moment we walked in, everyone was excited to explore the beautiful space and discover new books.

Some of our members found cozy spots to read, others went on a little “book hunt” through the shelves, and yes—we definitely checked out some great reads to take home!

And of course… we couldn’t leave without snapping lots of happy photos! 📸

Field Trip Fun at Baker’s Park!

We spent a lovely day at Baker’s Park in Frederick. Everyone enjoyed exploring the park, taking group photos, and relaxing outdoors together. The sunshine and fresh air made it a perfect day to unwind and have fun!

Lunar New Year at Worldshine Frederick 🧧✨

On Feb 17, we welcomed the Lunar New Year with bright decorations, cheerful laughter, and festive spirit all around.

Each member received a red scarf to start the year with warmth and good fortune. Our activity team brought everyone together with playful games — matching zodiac animals, tossing bean bags, and a friendly cup-stacking challenge. Smiles and laughter were everywhere!

The highlight? Steaming, handmade dumplings from our kitchen 🥟 — comforting, delicious, and full of holiday memories.

Members also got creative painting beautiful blossom canvases to celebrate the season.

Before heading home, everyone received a special New Year gift bag with festive decorations — a little extra cheer to take home.

🎄✨ Holiday vibes were in full swing at Worldshine Frederick!

Our members kicked things off with a festive Christmas play about the birth of Jesus, then sang together in holiday cheer in Chinese. The fun didn’t stop there—our transportation team rocked Jingle Bells and everyone clapped and tapped along! 🎶

And yes… Santa made a surprise appearance, handing out gifts and spreading big smiles all around. With snacks, photos, and plenty of laughter, it was a morning full of holiday cheer! 🎁❤️

🎄Christmas Craft Activity at Worldshine Frederick🎄

We had a Christmas craft activity where members painted festive paper designs like Santa, gingerbread figures, holiday trucks, and more. Everyone picked a design they liked and added their own colors and details.

It was a fun, relaxed activity, and members enjoyed taking their time and seeing how each piece turned out.
