OEMHS and our partners joined together today at the County Council for National Preparedness Month, where County Executive Marc Elrich and Public Safety Chair Sidney Katz presented a joint proclamation.

Our work is only possible because of our community. Thank you to all our residents, volunteers, and partners for staying engaged and helping us build a more prepared Montgomery County.

Emergency preparedness is a shared responsibility. We encourage everyone to visit our website and join us at one of our upcoming events to learn more about how you can stay ready for all types of disasters and emergencies.

Montgomery County’s FY27 Nonprofit Security Grant Program is accepting applications from nonprofits and faith-based facilities at risk of hate-based threats. Funding of up to $15,000 per facility is available for security personnel, assessments, cameras, training, and drills.

• Name: Teddy Sete
• Age: 4 years old with developmental delays
• Race: Black
• S*x: Male
• Last Seen: 1400 block of Peaceful Lane, Silver Spring at 3:45pm on 9-10-2026
• Description: Slim build with curly hair
• Last Seen Wearing: Red shirt with white stripes and brown pants
