Oak Hammock at the University of Florida has maintained a thriving beekeeping program since 2008. Our dedicated Bee Buddies are residents who care for and harvest honey from our hives year-round. Although this year's honey yield was lower than usual due to a challenging winter, the demand remained strong and more than 70 bottles of honey sold out in less than three hours! Thank you to everyone who supported our beekeeping program and helped make this year's harvest a sweet success.
