"Gainesville Financial Services strives to deliver powerful e-government services and provide valuable information about our community while making your interactions with us more efficient, convenient and interactive," said Business Services Manager Tracie Morris.
The online access portal is designed to better meet customers' needs by allowing them to manage business tax and licensing queries based on ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ช๐ณ availability, and from the comfort of their home or workplace. Overseen by Gainesville Financial Services, the Business Tax and Licensing Division exists to assist the public with the following: business occupation taxes, alcohol taxes/licenses, special event permits and hotel/motel excise taxes. This division ensures all ordinances passed by the Gainesville City Council are implemented, and enforced fairly and equitably through administrative permitting and licensing, code compliance investigations, collections, inspections and regulatory procedures.
