Gainesville Municipal Golf Course in Gainesville, Texas. THis will be a 4 man scramble.

Come join us for a great day of golf. October 14th we will hosting our 1st annual Dropping The "D" Shootout Golf Tournament at Turtle Hill Golf Course in Muenster Texas. Join us as we take on the mission of dropping the "D" from Post Traumatic Stress (D)isorder. Huge prizes for Hole in One and Putting Contest. We are currently looking for hole sponsors and 4 man teams. Team player meeting at 11 a.

m. at the club house with tee off immediately following. Raffle Prizes, giveaways, cold beverages and great times with friends! We will be holding a special dinner afterwards!

Our 1st Annual Dropping the D Shootout at Turtle Hill Golf course in Muenster Texas was a huge success! I personally want to thank all of our hole sponsors, without you guys we couldn't have pulled this off. I also want to thank Ryan Gajewski with Excessive Carts, and Chris Sparks with CCC Auto Sales for bringing the big money Hole in One and Putting Contest Prizes. Cathy Robinson with Rebellious Rose in Whitesboro Texas for all the cool YETI raffle Prizes! Joe Conner for her amazing eagle artwork she donated to be raffled. Scott Woody Woods for donating that awesome smoker. Nathan A Bruce with Rib Crib Gainesville for feeding us! And of course all 13 teams that showed up to play. It was a beautiful day and a great event! Charles Martindale and his team Brother's of Service were there in full force to make sure we played by the rules. If you guys have pics from the event please share them in this post! Cops 4 Cops showed and had a team together. To all the veterans and first responders that showed up to play, and all the extra volunteers I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Last but not least....thank you Lisa Gonzales Westervelt and Mitchell Westervelt. You guys came to me about 6 weeks ago and told me you wanted to throw this event together. In that short time you made this and epic turnout and set the bar so high for future events. I am glad that you guys are on my team and look forward to many more events side by side!
