The Junior League of Gainesville-Hall County is committed to making Northeast Georgia a better place for children and families.

The Junior League of Gainesville-Hall County is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Acting as a catalyst for positive change, we seek new opportunities to impact our community. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. We are dedicated to projects that promote the well being of children and families. Active members volunteer time (each more than 40 hours per year ) to community organizations and programs including mentoring through Center Point and the Boys and Girls Club, CASA, INK, Elachee Nature Science Center, the Children's Center for Hope and Healing and many more. The League also donates more than $90,000 on average in financial support to the community through grants to agencies aligned with its mission.

Meet Lindsay Allison! ❤️

We asked her a to tell us about her Junior League experience — from why she decided to join the League to what inspires her to serve.

"This is my third year as a member of the Junior League of Gainesville-Hall County—which is kind of hard to believe. I’ve enjoyed the League so much that time seems to have flown by!

I joined the League in 2024 for pretty simple reasons: I wanted to get more involved in our community and meet other women. I’ve definitely done both, but somewhere along the way, it became more than that.

I’ve had the chance to serve on several different committees, work alongside women from all different backgrounds and stages of life, and make some really great friends in the process.

And I think that’s what I’ve come to love most about Junior League. There’s something really special about finding community while you’re working together to make your community better. We all bring different experiences, talents, and perspectives to the table, and there’s always a place for what each of us has to give.

These days, you can also find me serving as the Rentals Coordinator for The League Lodge on Riverside Drive—which means I will happily talk to you about Junior League OR having your next event at the Lodge. 😂

I’m grateful for the friendships, the opportunities to serve, and the chance to be part of an organization that reminds me how much good can happen when women show up for one another and for the place we call home."

For 125 years Junior League Members have led through service, showing that giving back goes beyond donations. It creates opportunities, strengthens communities, and empowers individuals to reach their full potential.

We kicked off the League year this week with a 🎉 celebration 🎉 at our September General Membership Meeting! Our members enjoyed some tasty tacos from .0 and socialized during happy hour before moving into official business. We also recognized our Done In A Day Grant Recipients! We greatly appreciate our community partners and look forward to another great year of community impact! 🩷💙💚💛
