Today at the Lake City VA Medical Center, we had the honor of celebrating a very special World War II Veteran, William, who is 102! 🎉

Our Chaplain Service and his family joined together to surprise him with a centenarian certificate, a handmade quilt, and a commemorative pin. We are truly blessed to serve William, he is an absolute treasure.

Today, the Lake City VA Medical Center held a Final Mile Ceremony to honor an unclaimed Veteran, escorting them with respect and gratitude to their final resting place at the Jacksonville National Cemetery. We are thankful to everyone who joined us to stand in tribute and support. Your presence helped ensure this Veteran’s service was remembered with the dignity they deserved. 🇺🇸
