At 69, he had faced countless rental denials, nights in his car, and time in hospital beds. But through The Compass Center, he found support — someone to walk alongside him, help navigate barriers, and bridge the final gap between hardship and housing.
Today, he is safe, settled, and starting fresh.
Sometimes, the difference between crisis and stability is simply having the right support at the right time.

Their team partnered with the Compass Center to build shelving that expanded the organization’s ability to serve families and better organize essential resources such as hygiene items, household goods, and diapers. They also volunteered at the Senior Life Center, assembling equipment that helps seniors stay active, engaged, and connected.
