The Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) is a program that provides you the opportunity to become a United States Air Force officer while completing your college degree. The program, combining undergraduate education with military instruction, will prepare you to tackle the leadership challenges awaiting the Air Force in the 21st century. C/Mallick participated in the Silver Flag exercise at Tyndall Air Force Base, home to the 823rd Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineers (RED HORSE). The experience included classroom instruction on rapid airfield repair and specialty tracks such as force support, EOD, fire protection, civil engineering, and contracting.

C/Ogletree participated in a Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Staff Ride, exploring the foundations of our nation’s Nuclear Triad and the concept of deterrence. Additionally, the experience provided a unique opportunity to collaborate with joint service cadets from ROTC detachments across the country as well as cadets from the U.S. Military Academy, Naval Academy, and Air Force Academy.
