The Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) is a program that provides you the opportunity to become a United States Air Force officer while completing your college degree. The program, combining undergraduate education with military instruction, will prepare you to tackle the leadership challenges awaiting the Air Force in the 21st century. It's a path to rewards: job opportunities for

you after graduation and the respect, privilege and benefits of being an officer in the world's greatest Air Force. The Air Force offers you an opportunity to serve your country in a challenging career. Some of the many available career fields include pilot, navigator, air battle management, engineering, security forces and public affairs.

C/Mallick participated in the Silver Flag exercise at Tyndall Air Force Base, home to the 823rd Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineers (RED HORSE). The experience included classroom instruction on rapid airfield repair and specialty tracks such as force support, EOD, fire protection, civil engineering, and contracting.

Training Week 13 FTX - Cadets rotated and participated in both Icarus and the Lake Wauburg challenge courses. Icarus and these LRC-style scenarios emphasized communication, teamwork, decision making, strategic thinking, and coordination.

Training Week 13 LLAB - Cadets met with Air and Space Force officers to learn about career fields, ask questions, and gain insight into life as an officer. Thank you to all who came out to speak with our cadets.

Majoring in Computer Science, C/Ogletree is commissioning as a 15A Operations Analyst. As the Wing Commander of Detachment 150, she has led with excellence, professionalism, and a dedication that inspires everyone around her. Her analytical mindset and leadership skills have helped shape the next generation of Flying Gators, leaving a lasting impact on the detachment.

After completing a degree in astrophysics Logan Herron is commissioning to be a Pilot (11X). He aims to soar past our skies and into space as he pursues becoming an astronaut. C/ Herron is friend and mentor to the GMC cadets, working as a Flight Commander this semester.

C/Ogletree participated in a Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Staff Ride, exploring the foundations of our nation’s Nuclear Triad and the concept of deterrence. Additionally, the experience provided a unique opportunity to collaborate with joint service cadets from ROTC detachments across the country as well as cadets from the U.S. Military Academy, Naval Academy, and Air Force Academy.
