Hi everyone! Meet September's Kid Librarian!

Aubrey, age 10, customized the display case with handmade items like meatballs and raindrops of orange juice from "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs." She also made a school slate for "Anne of Green Gables" (check out the book to see what Anne does with the slate). We are so proud of her and hope you'll check out the books on her reading list!

As we kick off Library Card Sign up Month, lets take a look at the blueprints of our current building, which opened in 1963.

Most of the layout has stayed the same. We've re-positioned tables over the years to make room for computers and the Friends of the Library purchased a larger circulation desk almost 20 years ago.

The library will be closed this Thursday for electrical repairs. Power will be turned off to the building for most of the day and we unfortunately can't check your books out in the dark. If only we still had the vintage date stamp checkout system!
