On 07/07/26, Deputy Phelan and Lt Rhoades conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in Gainesville. The driver of the vehicle was driving on a revoked license. During a search of the vehicle, m**h and paraphernalia were located. Shawna Vanwinkle was arrested and booked into jail.

On 06/27/26, Blake Giller was arrested after a search warrant was served at his residence in Tecumseh. Ozark County Sheriff's SET located m**h and paraphernalia at his residence and later arrested and booked him into jail for possession charges. He's not flipping us off. He's missing his other fingers. (At least that's what we tell ourselves to sleep better at night). We hope to receive a better rating from him during his future visits.

On 07/05/26, Deputy Sherman and Deputy Lane conducted a traffic stop in Bakersfield on a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, Travis Wood, was driving on a felony level revoked driver's license. He was arrested and booked into jail.

On 06/26/26, Deputy Moss and Lt Rhoades observed a male driving a vehicle in Gainesville that they recognized to be on probation for DWI persistent and also had a revoked driver's license. They conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and arrested Ben Hutchinson for felony driving while revoked.

On 06/19/26, Deputy Moss conducted an investigative traffic stop in Gainesville on a vehicle connected to a theft in Gainesville. The driver, Donald Free, was driving while revoked (felony level) and also was confirmed to be the suspect of the theft being investigated. He was arrested and booked into jail for the theft and driving while revoked. Free later admitted to the theft. A search warrant for the stolen property was written for the residence that Free was living at in Thornfield. Ozark County Sheriff's SET served the warrant and located m**h, paraphernalia, and 9 fi****ms were seized. Free is a convicted felon and currently on probation/parole. Also located in the residence was Jimmy Todd, who is also on parole. Donald Free, Jimmy Todd, Nora Hibbon, and Carol Peterson were all arrested and booked into jail on possession of controlled substance/paraphernalia, unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of weapons.

On 06/17/26, Deputy Moss and Lt Rhoades were called to a report of a suspicious incident and located a female in Caulfield that had been dropped off from a vehicle passing through the county under suspicious cirmcumstances. Upon arrival, Deputy Moss located m**h and paraphernalia in her belongings. Lisa Caststeel was arrested and booked into jail for possession charges.

On 06/05/26, Cheriakee Charlton was arrested and booked into jail for her felony warrant stemming from a search warrant at a residence in Caulfield in February.

On 06/03/26, Sheriff Martin conducted an investigation into a theft which occurred at the state line. It was discovered through the investigation that Milton Hetrick stole a bank deposit bag from one of the stores and later assaulted a family member before fleeing into the woods to evade law enforcement. Sheriff Martin returned to location a short time later, located and arrested Milton for Stealing, Burglary, and Domestic Assault 3rd. Sheriff also located portions of the stolen cash on Milton's person. After a busy day of committing crime, Milton was booked into jail.

On 06/04/26, Deputy Moss and Lt Rhoades were in the Caulfield area and saw a male in a truck who they recognized from previous contacts as Josh Benson. They were also aware that Josh had an active failure to appear felony warrant. They made contact with the male, arrested, and booked him into jail for his warrant. Unfortunately, we failed to secure a booking photo. Fortunately, one wouldn't need to scroll back very far on this page to locate a recent one.

On 05/29/26, Deputy Lane and Deputy Ryan conducted a warrant service for Scott Hannaford for his active felony warrant at his residence in Gainesville. He was arrested and booked into jail.
