Truro Township is mourning the loss of Firefighter Tyler Norwood, who passed away in the early hours this morning. Firefighter Norwood served his community with dedication and pride. Our thoughts and prayers are with Tyler’s family, friends, and our brothers and sisters in the fire service as we navigate this loss together. Additional information will be shared as it becomes available.

Chief Franey was always a great colleague and we appreciated working with him on public safety matters in the township. He was also the trustee of the amateur radio repeater that is on the tower on Agler Road. Our thoughts are with Chief Franey’s family.
