Why do so many political insiders who want to add more high density zoning to Gahanna support my opponent?

My opponent's campaign finance report shows he received multiple donations from lobbyists, real estate attorneys, politicians, and developers who want more high density in Gahanna. One even has a current proposal that is pending.

If you want to protect Hometown Gahanna, there is only one choice November 7th, Vote Paul Winstead for City Council.

Just received a letter of endorsement from Joseph Gergley. Our campaign is happy to have his support.

Paul Winstead is the only candidate willing to stand up and oppose new high-density apartments and protect the character of Gahanna. Unlike his opponent, Paul Winstead understands our city and school district work best when they work together and he knows how high-density developments harm our school district.

Paul Winstead embodies everything I look for in a candidate. He's fiscally conservative, honest, and passionate about Gahanna. As a Marine, Paul's sacrificed a lot in the name of freedom. He missed the 1st birthday of his son while he was risking life and limb protecting the United States. I'm thankful for his service to this country, and thankful for his willingness to now serve the people of Gahanna.

At tonight's Ward 4 area commission meeting there was a proposal that I know many of you will be interested in following. A developer wants to build 37 condo units on land at the corner of Clotts and Johnstown road. This is troubling to me for several reasons. First, traffic. I know I'm not alone in feeling we don't need anymore preventable congestion. Second, our school district. Adding 37 units will undoubtedly negatively impact our schools. Third, the rezoning. No one has forgotten how the city of Gahanna was burned when they voted to approve multi-family rezoning on Hamilton Road for condos, and after the developer had his approval he changed the condos into apartments. In addition to this 37 units proposal, there is another proposal for 56 units on the West Side. It's clear many developers and some at the city want every possible remaining piece of land in Gahanna developed. I'll be opposing this and any future high density projects.

The Gahanna Division of Police did an awesome job for the 4th of July. I've always had a great respect for Gahanna Police and they showed their dedication to duty and selflessness by being out in full force to make sure our cities fireworks went off without any issues. Thank you all.

We had a great time at the July 4th parade this morning. I hope everyone had a chance to make it out. Happy 4th of July everyone have a safe and wonderful holiday. I also would like to thank the first responders working today and all military past and present thank you for your service.

Gahanna Bill was a big part of my high school experience. He showed up to my football games and supported the whole team. You cant help but smile when Gahanna Bill is around you, he has a great outlook on life. Thanks for the continuous support Bill you are the best!
