I never expected to see this while fishing. 🎣😳

This was NOT my fishing line. I spotted this heron flying and it landed near me with the hook in it while I was fishing from a dock.

Unfortunately, there was nothing I could do.

Lovely damselflies only live for one month as adults.

I’ve spent so much of my life in a television studio that I had a magic epiphany today when I stepped outside here in England to voice something and the natural environment was my studio. 🎬

It was perfect. Natural. Not manufactured and the moment hit me in a profound way.
