This afternoon, Twin Rivers responded to a motor vehicle accident (MVA). Due to the potential need for a landing zone (LZ) for a patient, Twin Rivers requested additional assistance. Corinth Volunteer Fire Department responded to assist with establishing and securing the landing zone.

A big thank you to Greenville County EMS, Regional One Air Medical DMW Volunteer Fire Departmentand Corinth Volunteer Fire Department - Gaffney SC for their assistance and teamwork during this incident.

We are proud to announce the newest addition to our fleet! Introducing Engine 22. Engine 22 was purchased from Corinth Volunteer Fire Department - Gaffney SC in April. This engine serves as a pumper/tanker. This truck gives us more capabilities than we previously had. Some of the features include front suction and discharge, 1500 gallons of water, 1500gpm pump, onboard generator with scene lighting, and a master stream device.

This truck will become our first out for structure fires and vehicle fires both in district and out-of-district. This truck took the place of the truck that was donated by Converse Fire Department and will be stationed at our main station.

Thanks to all the members who worked tirelessly to get this truck in service!

It’s that time of the year again for our annual community Thanksgiving meal! It will be Saturday November 23rd at 6:00pm. We look forward to seeing everyone! Last night, members from DMW, Corinth, and Twin Rivers participated in an open house/trick or treat event. Candy, hotdogs, and drinks were handed out to those who came. It was also a time to showcase the joint station that these fire departments created a few years ago. It wouldn’t have been possible without the community involvement. We are excited to serve the community with this station. Without this station insurance premiums would be higher, and many homes would not have the protection they deserve.

Thank you DMW and Corinth for the work and dedication into making this event possible.
