It has been a long campaign but the last day has arrived. I have enjoyed meeting the residents of Jefferson County as I traveled to many local events. I will honestly say that the people I have met are genuinely concerned for their communities and their country. We all want safe communities, great schools and gainful employment. I believe in giving back to the community - that's why I am seeking the office of Jefferson County Circuit Judge. Your concerns are my concerns: primarily, to protect against crime and to ensure fairness to all parties when dealing with the court.

While practicing law for over 10 years, I've realized how my actions and decisions have influenced my clients' lives. I would like to make a greater impact and this is the next step toward achieving that goal.

I am open-minded, yet willing and able to reach a decision; confident, yet not so self-centered as to not learn from others; and even-tempered, yet can be firm when necessary. I have the judicial temperament to deal with people calmly and courteously and will be willing to hear and consider the views of all sides of a case.

Please vote “Glover for Judge” on November 8.

Thank you Judge Julie Ann Palmer for the invitation to attend the 2016 Guardians Luncheon in Homewood. This event supports the Homewood Police Foundation which was created to offer Homewood residents the chance to join with officers who serve and protect their community. The Homewood Police Department is committed to foster relationships between the police department and the corporate and private citizens they serve. The guest speaker was Rick Burgess of the Rick and Bubba Show. I have never had the opportunity to hear Mr. Burgess speak at a live event. He is a great speaker and great man of God.

To all my friends working in the school system, I have been actively involved in the education system for years. With the shortage of school bus drivers I decided three years ago to take the bus drivers test. I have substituted as a bus driver, driven field trips and taken athletic teams to their sporting events all across the county. My wife, Kelly, is an employee of the education system. We both have a passion to help ensure children in the county receive a great education. I am asking for your support. If you are a teacher, bus driver, lunchroom worker, office employee or volunteer please let your friends and family know I am asking for YOUR VOTE!
