On the left, Mrs. Palomo is a dedicated second-grade teacher, who inspires her students each day with her kindness, patience, and passion for learning. Her positive impact reaches far beyond the classroom, helping young minds grow with confidence and curiosity. We love her creativity and craftiness! She’s leaves a little bit of sparkle and cuteness every where she goes!

On the right, Mrs. McKeehan, a wonderful kindergarten teacher, fills her classroom with warmth, curiosity, and joy. She creates a nurturing environment where her students feel loved, encouraged, and excited to begin their educational journey. Her patience is undeniably one of the best qualities she brings each day!

Attention families: Please complete the required student transportation form before the last day of school on May 21, 2026. This form provides our transportation department with important information to organize bus routes for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year.

All students, no matter their form of transportation, must have a submission form completed by their parent or guardian before the start of the next school year.

🎉 Hip Hip Hooray! We’re celebrating Mrs. Thompson’s birthday today! 🩷🥳

When we think of all the ways our school thrives, we owe so much credit to this amazing woman! Mrs. Thompson is affectionately known as the 👑 Queen 👑 of our school and was titled the 2026 Support Staff Member of the Year by colleagues! She’s not only our administrative assistant- she’s a kind, compassionate, listening ear, helper, shoulder when you need one, multi-tasking genius, generous, and beautiful soul who treats everyone with authenticity and care. We love her for all the ways she leads, loves, and genuinely makes us better! She’s simply the best! 💜💚

On the left, Mrs. Szeszycki is a gem of an educator! 💎Her patience, encouragement, and love for teaching help students build confidence not only in math, but in themselves. We love her for making learning fun, inspiring young minds every day, and always going the extra mile for her students. She has a special way of making every moment memorable! 💜💚

On the right, Ms. Voytoski is a reading language arts 📚Rockstar with the kind of passion and dedication that grows the hearts and minds of all her students! She’s known around the district for her phonics based instruction, dedication to student success, and undeniable results. Please take a moment to stop by and check for any of your child’s belongings. During end-of-year parties, the Lost & Found will be in the main hallway for easier access.

All unclaimed items remaining after the last day of school will be donated.

🎉 Hip Hip Hooray! We celebrated 3️⃣ May birthdays this week! 🎉🍎

On the left, Mrs. De Luna is a true ray of sunshine on campus! Always looking for creative ways to inspire our students in her Innovative Day classes or lending a helping hand to support another team, she is the person you want on the team! Her background in dance and drill team has led to remarkably enjoyable theatre and dance performances by our Raptors. We love her for sharing her passions with our students and encouraging expression in multiple forms! 🕺🎭

Pictured in the middle is our 2025 LCISD District Teacher of the Year, Mr. Knox! Known for his thought provoking science explorations and lessons that make students appreciate the scientific world around them, Mr. Knox is an all-star educator who students love. His classroom is always a thriving learning space where academics are balanced with real-world applications. We love his dedication to our young scientists! 🥼🔭🔬🧪

On the right is a very special specials teacher, Mrs. B. McCoy our science STEM teacher! She works with ALL our Raptors, big and small, as part of the specials rotation and makes every tailored lesson a building block to support the grade level’s science curriculum but with her own flair! Her thoughtful care and love for innovative, outside of the box lessons make her classroom a crowd favorite! 💚💜⚗️
