Congratulations and welcome back to the National Guard team!!! I first met Dale at the age of 17 back in 2010. He enlisted into the National Guard as a 36B- Finance Management Specialist. During his time in his first term, he's been on state activations and missions overseas. He also took advantage of our education benefits(FTA and GI Bill) to complete his Bachelor's degree with two majors: Russian Studies and Economics at San Diego State University. He just enlisted back into the National Guard to get a deployment under his belt and looking at the possibility of becoming an Officer Candidate. Welcome back and congrats, again!

Congratulations to one of the newest members of the CA Army National Guard. PVT Noah Mabra joined as 31B- Military Police, and will be heading to Ft. Leonard Wood, MO for 21 weeks of training in November. Once complete, he will return home to serve one weekend a month and 2 weeks in the summer so that he can complete his degree while using our education benefits(FTA and GI Bill). He plans to pursue his education in Administration of Justice or Homeland Security with MSJC and transfer back to Cal Poly Pomona. Welcome to the team, and congrats again!!!

Attending CSU Fullerton’s 2018 Veteran Appreciation Night with my soldier, PFC Dapnee Hernandez. She joined the National Guard last year, went to training for 92Y- Logistics- Unit Supply Specialist, and is back to school at CSU Fullerton with a year remaining. Woot woot! It’s awesome to see soldiers grow from the first time they come into the office, going off to training, and coming back home to have their future accelerated by our benefits. 👏👍💵💰🎓Congratulations to Shaun Dunasco for becoming one of the newest members of the CA Army National Guard. He joined as a 13B-Artillery Cannon Crewmember and will receive a $20,000 bonus and GI Bill Kicker. Once his training is complete, he plans to transfer to Cal Poly Pomona or CSU Fullerton as a Simultaneous Membership Program with ROTC to become a 2LT.
