We have committed ourselves on providing high quality fire and emergency medical services to our residents, businesses and visitors. Responding to current emergencies and remaining proficient with the skills required to prevent and suppress fires, deliver emergency medical care and educate members of our community in health and safety issues requires constant awareness and training. men of this department are committed to providing community training and skilled responses to all types of emergencies. Through continuous training, efficient and effective operations, advanced equipment and a commitment to our mission, we are prepared to meet a variety of emergency and non-emergency situations. Our Fire Prevention Bureau provides a variety of services. We consult with developers and contractors to ensure code compliance for new projects to be built in the Town, we are involved throughout the planning and construction process, as well as conducting periodic inspections throughout the year to ensure continued code compliance and safety for our community. 🎉🚒 Happy 6th Birthday, Luke! 🚒🎉

Davie Fire Rescue was honored to host Luke and his friends after he won Firefighter for the Day through his school! Thank you for letting us be a part of your special celebration.

The birthday crew got a behind-the-scenes look at the fire engine and rescue truck, explored some of the tools firefighters use, tried on firefighting gear, and even got the chance to spray a fire hose—definitely the favorite activity of the day!

We hope you and your friends had an unforgettable birthday and made memories that will last a lifetime. Happy Birthday, Luke! 🚒🎂🎈

Another amazing Mommy & Me in the books 💕

Thank you to all the moms and little ones who came out to support today’s event and connect with our incredible community partners. From safety tips and health resources to parenting support and fun activities, we loved seeing our community come together to learn and grow together.

Today, Davie Fire Rescue participated in a regional hazardous materials training exercise hosted by Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue at Chase Stadium. The multi-agency exercise focused on hazard recognition, mass decontamination operations, triage, medical coordination, and emergency management during a simulated incident at a large public event.

We appreciate the opportunity to train alongside our regional partners as we continue strengthening preparedness and response capabilities across South Florida.

Please note that Davie Fire Rescue Administration offices will be closed in observance of Memorial Day. Emergency services personnel will continue normal operations and remain ready to serve our community 24/7.

Safety starts before you ever get in the water. 🌊

Today, Davie Fire Rescue and our community partners spent the day helping residents stay safe this summer through free hands-only CPR training, water safety education, and drowning prevention awareness at the Town of Davie’s Water Safety Day.

Thank you to everyone who came out to learn skills that could help save a life.

If you missed us today, don’t worry — we’ll be back at READY DAVIE on Saturday, June 13 from 10 AM – 1 PM with more hands-only CPR opportunities and public safety education for the whole family.

Crews conducted aerial operations training today at Station 38 to keep skills sharp and response-ready.

Davie Fire Rescue is actively monitoring the Everglades brush fires burning west of Broward County. At this time, there are no immediate threats to the Town of Davie or Southwest Ranches, but residents may notice smoke conditions depending on wind and weather.

Please use caution, limit outdoor activity if sensitive to smoke, and drive carefully in areas with reduced visibility. We will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates as needed.

INCIDENT ALERT: Davie Road between Griffin Road and Stirling Road is currently closed due to a fire incident.

Access will be limited to residents only. This closure is expected to remain in place through tomorrow. Please avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
