We have committed ourselves on providing high quality fire and emergency medical services to our residents, businesses and visitors. Responding to current emergencies and remaining proficient with the skills required to prevent and suppress fires, deliver emergency medical care and educate members of our community in health and safety issues requires constant awareness and training. Through continuous training, efficient and effective operations, advanced equipment and a commitment to our mission, we are prepared to meet a variety of emergency and non-emergency situations. Our Fire Prevention Bureau provides a variety of services. We consult with developers and contractors to ensure code compliance for new projects to be built in the Town, we are involved throughout the planning and construction process, as well as conducting periodic inspections throughout the year to ensure continued code compliance and safety for our community. Roads are now open

All southbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike at the Sheridan Street overpass are currently closed due to a jackknifed tractor-trailer.

A tow truck is responding to remove the vehicle. No injuries have been reported.

Davie Fire Rescue Department offers monthly hands-on community training where residents can learn essential life-saving skills. From CPR and AED use to Stop the Bleed, EpiPen, and Narcan administration, these classes give you the practical skills and confidence to help during an emergency. ❤️‍🩹

No previous medical experience is needed. Our experienced firefighter-paramedics will guide you through each skill in a supportive, hands-on environment.

Last Friday’s Teen Safety Night was a great success! 🎉

We welcomed 60 teens for an evening focused on safety, education and making smart choices. Our speakers shared valuable information on dangers of va**ng, teen driving, cyber safety and personal growth, while attendees enjoyed a great meal, won some prizes and earned community service hours.
