We were assigned station number 670 in the early 2000s by Clarion County Office of Emergency services (9-1-1) where we are dispatched through. We provide fire and rescue services to all of Washington Twp and the western portion of Knox Twp in Clarion County. We average around 200 calls for service a year with approximately 20 trained firefighters. Some of the common calls for service we are dispat

ched for are...Structure fires, brush fires, vehicle fires, vehicle crashes (with injuries and or entrapment), technical rescues (rope, high angle, confined space), weather related incidents (trees down, flooded basements and roads), hazmat calls (fuel spills, natural gas leaks, carbon monoxide incidents), search and rescues, and as of February 2023, the Dept has become a licensed EMS Agency to operate as a QRS (quick response service) that responds to medical calls in our coverage area. The department also provides automatic aid for the Farmington Twp, and Shippenville/Elk Twp fire departments in Clarion Co, Marienville Fire Dept, and Tionesta Vol Fire Dept in Forest Co, and Pinegrove Twp fire department in Venango Co. The department owns and operates 5 pieces of equipment to serve the community. Engine 12 - 1999 HME 4Guys pumper with a 6 man cab 1500GPM pump and 1000Gal tank. Rescue 16 - 2014 Spartan 4Guys rescue with a 500gpm pump, 300gal water tank, 10gal foam tank, foam system, cascade, PTO generator, "jaws of life". Tanker 14 - 2004 Kenworth 4Guys tanker with a 1500GPM pump and a 2500Gal tank. Brush 15 - 2008 Dodge 5500 4Guys brush unit with a 250GPM pump 300Gal tank w/mad dog. Utility 1 - 2014 Kubota 1100 Diesel UTV 75 gallon water tank with a High Pressure Low volume Pump. Fire Dept line officers for 2024 -

⚠️ ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE ⚠️

Paint Mills Road will be closed for bridge work on the Route 66 side beginning June 1 through August 21. Detour signs will be posted in the area.

If you have an emergency on Paint Mills Road during the closure, please provide an exact address and/or what side of the bridge you are located on when calling 911. This will help emergency responders make sure they are responding from the correct side of the closure.

Please use caution in the area, watch for workers and equipment, and allow extra travel time. Thank you for your patience and cooperation!

The parade has been changed to SUNDAY. 

Due to the weather forecast, we need to make some changes to this year’s schedule. Take a look at the schedule below!! Please share to all your family and friends!!
All events for Friday are going on as planned. Many of Saturday’s events are now taking place on Sunday and some times have been adjusted too. Sorry for the inconvenience- this was a tough decision for the committee, as well! Hopefully everyone can still enjoy the day!
