Town of Fruithurst Public Notice

The Town of Fruithurst will hold its regularly scheduled
City Council meeting on Monday, July 20, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at Fruithurst City Hall.

In addition to the regular business of the Town, the
Council will inquire about zoning regulations and
properties located within the Town of Fruithurst city
limits. Anyone with questions or concerns about zoning or how it may affect property within the city limits is encouraged to attend.

The Town of Fruithurst is now accepting sealed bids for the cutting and maintenance of the Town's rights-of-way. Interested contractors are invited to submit their bid by mail or email.

So we have dumpster issues again. The dumpster behind the city hall in Fruithurst is not public. It is for the senior center trash. If everyone puts their trash in there it fills up and the senior center does not have anywhere to throw their trash away. In Cleburne County we have convenience centers that are open through out the week. It is also a must that each resident in the county has trash pick up. Please do not put trash in the dumpster behind the city hall. There is surveillance on the dumpster. We have pictures of people throwing trash in the dumpster. We do not want to go further and we want everyone to respect this for the senior center.

Thank you to each and everyone of you that came out today. We are so thankful to have a community that came out to enjoy each other. This small town is such a wonderful place and is so willing to give back and just enjoy the time with each other. Thank you all for coming out
