All the sleepy kitties winding down for the weekend! 😴 We’ll be 𝗖𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗗 on Mon 9/7 for Labor Day.

We have a couple of young ones here who will be ready to meet you next week, along with some veryyy nice adult cats… completely unbiased! 😉

She’s around 𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗹𝗱, with fabulous litter box skills. She’s an affectionate little couch potato who would be more than happy to spend her days lounging in all the sunshine filled cozy spots. Offer her some chin scratches and you’ll become an instant best friend.

𝗦𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗻 hasn’t lived with 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝘁𝘀 before, so if you have furry friends at home, our team can walk you through proper, slow introductions to help set everyone up for success.

Just a sweet lil orange cream puff you’re lookin at! 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 is her official name around here, and yes, 𝙎𝙃𝙀’𝙎 a lovely lady. 🧡

It’s not too often you come across an orange kitty who’s a girl, but 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼 sure lives up to the reputation. She’s incredibly affectionate, loves to loaf up in your lap, brush against your legs, nudge her way into your palms, and… have you all to herself. 🥹

She’ll need to be the 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱, but she’s wonderful with humans of all ages. She hasn’t been around 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀 before. At around 6 years old, she’s got excellent litterbox skills and is very much a chill out and unwind kinda girl.

Her adoption fee is $𝟯𝟱 - she’s fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped.

The photo on the left is 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀 hearing those doors open, thinking it’s just another day at the shelter… and the photo on the right is her after finding out someone asked to bring her on an adventure! 🥹

🦮 𝗦𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗳-𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁: take a pup out for 30 minutes or the whole day! Hangout in our playyards, go for a walk, run, car ride, hike, or even have a nap session at home. Just return them before we close: 𝟲𝗽𝗺 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 or 𝟱𝗽𝗺 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀

🌤️ 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝗴: give a pup a couple days away from the shelter and have the most fun sleepover together while helping us learn more about them in a home environment!

🚨 WE NEED DOG FOSTERS 🚨
Right now we have 𝟱𝟬 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 and kennel space is extremely limited.

We’re committed to helping the community animals who come into our shelter’s care, but we need to free up as many dog kennels as possible 𝘀𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 and to give the ones already here a break in a relaxing home.

Whether you can open your home to a dog for 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 or can help for a couple days through our 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, we need you!

🏡 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗙𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 can help dogs who are still completing their 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁, as well as dogs who are available for adoption.

We have the cutest pair of blue-eyed buns ready to hop their way out of here! 🐰 Their names are 𝗕𝘂𝗴 & 𝗦𝗹𝘂𝗴 and their adoption fee is just $𝟮𝟱 each.

These two boys are almost always lounging together on their hidey shelf or snuggled up on their blankies. They both love treats and will happily come over to say hello!

Rabbits need 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 to run, explore and bounce around, so they’re happiest when they have room to be their playful, curious selves. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘁 should be hay, along with fresh greens, a small serving of pellets, and the occasional healthy treat. They’re also incredibly 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝘀 who enjoy puzzle toys, enrichment, and getting to discover fun spaces.

If you’re new to rabbits, there are 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 to help you learn everything you need to create a happy home for your new bun.

Come by the shelter to meet them! They’ll be hanging out together in their own condo in our cat hall. 🐇🩵

SEEKING ADOPTERS or RESCUE
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗲’𝘀: 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 & 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 have all had a little bit of a longer journey finding their perfect homes. ❤️‍🩹

The 3 came into our shelter as strays, with 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀 arriving a couple days after 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 and 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 from the same area. After seeing their shared similarities and the way they immediately warmed up to one another, we had a feeling these 3 likely knew each other before coming to us. All 3 are 𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗲𝘁, 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗴𝘀 who can take a little time to feel safe and comfortable.

𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 & 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 have both recently gone to 𝗳𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀, which has allowed us to see their brighter side and learn more about who they are once they’ve been given an opportunity to settle into a quiet space and have that time to decompress.

𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 has loved having 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 around to play with and to help him feel less lonely when his people are away. 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 is living with a 𝗰𝗮𝘁 in her foster home and has been 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗳𝘂𝗹 of her feline roommate. 🐱 If you’re coming across this post and are interested in 𝗳𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀, please reach out!
