The Town of Front Royal Streets department will be installing crosswalk on Chester Street. Chester Street will be closed between Laura Virginia Hale Place and E. Main Street on June 18, 2026, from 7:00am to 1pm. (Weather Permitting)

Signs will be in place. Motorists are asked to use caution while driving in this area and be aware of signs and crews working.

The Town of Front Royal Business Offices will be closed on Friday, June 19, 2026, in observance of Juneteenth.

Trash & Recycling Schedule Update:
Friday, June 19 collections will be moved to Wednesday, June 17
All other trash and recycling collection days will remain the same this week.
There will be no yard waste collection this week

****UPDATE: Power has been restored.
Thank you to everyone affected for your patience and understanding, especially while weathering the storm.

We are currently experiencing a power outage in the Kesler Subdivision area.

Crews are on-site and working to make repairs as quickly and safely as possible. Due to an underground fault and transformer fire, we anticipate the outage may last for an extended period of time.

We appreciate your patience and understanding and will provide updates as they become available.

In observance of National Public Works Week, the Town of Front Royal will NOT collect yard waste on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.

✅ Trash and recycling collection will continue as scheduled.

The next yard waste collection date will be Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
