I would like to take a moment to acknowledge and commend the Frisco Fire Department for its exceptional commitment to the community over the past week. The dedication and professionalism demonstrated during the recent severe weather event truly exemplify the spirit of service we strive to uphold.
At the onset of Hurricane Erin, Station 42's Highwater rescue apparatus was promptly deployed, playing a crucial role in our emergency response efforts. All three Highwater rescue vehicles were actively utilized, ensuring that the department could effectively check on community members and residents. These efforts were vital in assessing the ability of individuals to evacuate safely and identifying any medical needs that may have arisen, particularly as the storm threatened to extend in duration.
Throughout the event, the high rescue vehicles were instrumental in transporting Dare County EMTs and paramedics to Hatteras Station 40 and Hatteras Inlet Ferry Operations navigating through high water conditions along Highway 12. This coordination was essential to maintain ferry operations and ensure that critical personnel could perform their duties despite the challenging circumstances presented by the hurricane.
I am immensely proud of our firefighters and all personnel involved in this operation. Your dedication under pressure, teamwork, and unwavering focus on community safety have not gone unnoticed. It is because of your efforts that we were able to manage this severe weather events with resilience and professionalism.
Thank you for your hard work and commitment. Let us continue to uphold these high standards as we prepare for future challenges and continue to serve our community with excellence.
Most of all a big thank you going out to our residents and business owners who dropped off all the delicious treats.

Another Successful 4th of July BBQ Fundraiser! 🇺🇸🔥

We want to send a huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported our annual Fourth of July BBQ Fundraiser! It was another great success, and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible support from our Frisco community.
