Tragic news out of Sanger today. Prayers for the family and community.

The Texas House passed bills into law banning terror-backed CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood from buying Texas land. We closed the loopholes being exploited by EPIC City, ending the ability to build Muslim-only enclaves. I personally helped stop the CAIR Islamic Games in GCISD.

The Federal government not only runs our legal immigration system, bringing Muslim men and women to this country, but the Feds are now rolling out accounts to pay them (and all Americans) to have babies.

If this is your top issue, perhaps it’s not the Texas House - or your local city council - that’s the issue.

Good news! Today the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals cleared the way for Texas’ App Store Accountability Act to take effect while legal challenges continue.

I was proud to serve as a joint sponsor of this legislation, which requires app stores to verify users’ ages and obtain parental consent before minors can download apps or make in-app purchases.

For too long, Big Tech has made it easy for children to access social media platforms and other online content without meaningful parental involvement. Parents deserve to know what their children are downloading and have the ability to make those decisions for their families.

Protecting kids online and giving parents more control over their children’s digital lives has been one of my top priorities. This ruling is an important victory for Texas families and a significant step toward holding Big Tech accountable.

Texas will continue leading the nation in putting parents back in charge.

Y’all, it’s Election Day for the runoff in the Republican Primary. You can vote even if you missed the March election, you just can’t vote if you voted in the Democratic Primary.

Leslie and I voted during early voting and, with only a handful of races, it literally took 5 minutes. These races are very important, please take a few minutes today to vote.

Two of the races I’m following are Senator Mayes Middleton for AG and Commissioner Jim Wright for re-election to the RRC. Go vote!

In recent days, I had the great pleasure of recognizing the selfless service of two Frisco public servants. After nine years, Brian Livingston, and after 15 years, John Keating, leave the City Council having made Frisco a much better community than it was when they found it. I’m proud to consider both men friends.

There are many ‘wins’ to highlight for each, but I’ll say what stands out to me is Brian’s adherence to fiscal conservatism and John’s devotion to our veteran community.

I provided Brian and John State of Texas resolutions highlighting their service to our community and congratulated them both on successful seasons of service.

As Frisco heads into the future, let’s remember that though we may disagree from time to time, Frisco remains one of America’s great cities to start a business and raise a family - and for that, we owe Brian and John a debt of gratitude. Thank you, gentlemen.

Today we remember the brave Americans who sacrificed their today for our tomorrow. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it is a time to reflect on the courage, selflessness, and patriotism of those who gave everything to protect our freedoms.

We honor their legacy and pray for the loved ones who carry their memory forward each day. May God continue to bless the United States of America.

Have a blessed Memorial Day weekend!

🚨 FINAL DAY OF EARLY VOTING!

Leslie and I are proud to endorse and vote for MAGA Mayes Middleton for Attorney General! And we’re in good company with County Judge Andy Eads, Sheriff Tracy Murphree, and members of our Texas House delegation.

MAGA Mayes and I came into the House together - and as a House Member and Senator, he has consistently ranked as one of the most conservative legislators in Austin while also effectively passing key pieces of conservative legislation. In fact, last session, he and I passed a bill to finally eliminate a loophole in state law that shielded some adults who share harmful sexual materials to minors. At every turn, MAGA Mayes stood in gap for protecting Texas children.

Go vote TODAY for Senator Mayes Middleton for Texas Attorney General!
