Marie Sprague, author of the eleven volume geneaology, "People Who Passed Through Friendship" will be at the library with her books today and she is happy to answer your questions.

Marie Ames Sprague of Cushing has deep family ties to Cushing and Friendship. She has published multi-volume genealogies of each town. Marie will be at the Friendship library on Monday, August 10th, from 6-8pm to show the Friendship volumes and answer questions.
People Who Passed Through Friendship is an eleven volume genealogy of each person who is in a Friendship record, may it be a census, cemetery, birth, marriage, death, will, obituary, town report, etc. Each person and all their marriage connection are included. So a person may never have been in Friendship, but they are married to someone who was connected are included. The book tells the history of Friendship, Maine through the people as they immigrated to the town or moved to other places.
