We wrapped up the school year with an incredible PBIS Marking Period Reward Day at Shanksville-Stonycreek! Students who earned at least 2 PROUD Cards, maintained passing grades, and had 2 or fewer discipline referrals during the marking period were eligible to attend.

Students enjoyed a full day of fun activities including volleyball, pickleball, co****le, an obstacle course, ultimate frisbee, and kickball. They also enjoyed food trucks, ice cream treats, and an outdoor picnic-style lunch courtesy of our cafeteria staff. Students were even able to redeem their PROUD Cards at the concession stand for snacks throughout the day.

We are so proud of our students for demonstrating positive behavior, responsibility, and hard work throughout the marking period. A huge thank you to our faculty, staff, cafeteria team, volunteers and community partners who helped make this such a memorable day for our students!

(Photos) On May 27, we shared one of the most heartwarming traditions at Shanksville-Stonycreek Elementary School β€” the Seniors/Kindergarten Walk.

Our seniors returned to where their school journey began and were paired with our kindergarten students as they walked the hallway together. Each senior had the special role of guiding a younger student, sharing smiles, encouragement, and a moment that connected the very first year of school with the very last.

The hall was filled with smiles, pride, and a few happy tears as two different stages of childhood walked side by side. It was a beautiful reminder of how quickly time passes and how meaningful these shared school experiences truly are.

We are so proud of our seniors and so thankful for the joy and excitement our kindergarten students bring to these traditions. What a special way to celebrate the journey from the beginning all the way to the end.
