Tree falling! 📢🗣️
As visitation slows, it allows for maintenance projects, such as hazard tree removal, to take place.

Hazarad trees are trees that have been identified as posing threat to people or property, suspecting its fall to be imminent. Dead trees often serve as habitat for wildlife and play a vital role in our parks. This is considered and only trees in areas that pose a risk to visitors, such as campgrounds, picnic areas, and roads, are removed.

Our maintenance crew is always working to help make your visit safe, and look good doing it!

Reminder: Wood gathering in not allowed.
