🚒 MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: BOB ELDERKIN 🚒

Today we’re shining the spotlight on Bob Elderkin, a longtime and dedicated member of the Frewsburg Fire Company! ❤️‍🔥

🔥 38 Years of Service

Bob joined the fire company in 1988 and has spent nearly four decades serving our department and community.
Throughout his years with the fire company, Bob has held many positions, including:
• Fire Captain
• EMT / Medic
• 3rd Assistant Chief
• 2nd Assistant Chief
• 1st Assistant Chief
• Games of Chance Manager

🚑 Bob’s dedication to EMS has also
been a huge part of his career. He became an EMT in 1990, continued his EMS career with AMT in 1997, worked with Critical Care around 2003, and became a Paramedic around 2016–2017. Bob has also worked professionally in EMS since 1998, with Alstar beginning in 1998.

Outside of the fire company and EMS, Bob enjoys spending time with his grandkids, hunting, and cutting firewood. 🦌🪵❤️

We are incredibly grateful for Bob’s 38 years of service, dedication, and commitment to the Frewsburg Fire Company and our community!

NICK CUSIMANO
CHIEF | 30 YEARS OF SERVICE

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Chief Nick Cusimano, who has proudly dedicated 30 years to the Frewsburg Fire Company! 🚒🔥

Outside of being Chief, Nick is a husband, dad, Poppy, and a godly man who means so much to his family and those around him. ❤️

Outside of the fire hall, Nick loves anything that gets him outdoors! 🎣🦌🌲 He enjoys fishing, hunting, trapping, and simply spending time outside enjoying the great outdoors.

For 30 years, Nick has given his time, knowledge, leadership, and heart to the Frewsburg Fire Company and our community.

Our condolences go out to the family of 45 year Life Member Richard “Dick” Moore. He passed away Tuesday July 28th 2026. Along with being a life member of the Frewsburg Fire Department he also served in the U.S Army enlisting at the age of 17 in 1955. He was the coach of the 2002 1st place Fire/Ems/Police soft ball team. He will be deeply missed Rest Easy Dicky Do
