📖 Learning from the Story of Joseph!

Our Martin Park kids spent Bible lesson time learning about Joseph and his colorful coat and the incredible journey God had planned for his life. From difficult circumstances to unexpected blessings, Joseph’s story reminds us that God is with us even when life doesn’t go the way we expect. 💚

We love creating opportunities for our kids to grow not only academically and socially, but spiritually as well. ❤️

🏀⚽🏈 Saturday Mornings Are for SPORTS! 🏃‍♂️💨

Every Saturday morning, we give kids the chance to get outside, get moving, and have some fun at Saturday Sports! 💚

Through sports, our kids are learning teamwork, perseverance, sportsmanship, communication, and how to encourage one another, all while staying active and building friendships. 🙌

We love giving kids a positive place to spend their Saturday mornings surrounded by friends, caring adults, and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.

📚✏️ Homework Time… With Smiles Included! 😄

After a full day at school, homework might not always be the first thing our kids are excited about but somehow, we’re still seeing plenty of smiling faces at Martin Park! 💚

Homework time gives our students a place to ask questions, get extra help, stay on track, and build confidence in what they’re learning. Just as importantly, they have caring adults beside them encouraging them when an assignment feels difficult and celebrating when they figure it out. 🙌

We love seeing our kids work hard, help one another, and still find reasons to smile along the way. Learning is a little easier when you know you don’t have to do it alone! 📖😊

🏡💚 Martin Park at Kearney Cooley Apartments!

We love bringing Martin Park directly into the communities where our kids live! Our program at Kearney Cooley Apartments gives students a safe and encouraging place to spend time after school while learning, playing, creating, and building relationships with caring adults.

From homework help and enrichment activities to games, Bible lessons, snacks, and plenty of time to just have fun together, each day is another opportunity to invest in our students. 📚🎨🏀🙏

Having a program right within the apartment community also helps remove barriers for families by making these opportunities easily accessible to their children. We’re grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside our Kearney Cooley kids and families and create a place where children know they are seen, valued, and encouraged to grow! 💚

🎨🖼️ Creativity at Work at Martin Park!

Enrichment activities give our students opportunities to explore, create, problem-solve, and discover talents they may not even know they have! This week, our kids put their creativity to work by designing and decorating their very own picture frames. ✂️✨

Projects like this may seem simple, but they provide so many benefits. As students choose colors, materials, and designs, they’re practicing decision-making, developing fine motor skills, expressing their individuality, and building confidence as they watch their ideas come to life. And the best part? There’s no wrong way to be creative! 💚

At Martin Park, we love providing experiences that encourage our kids to try something new and proudly say, “I made that!” Every enrichment is another opportunity to learn, grow, and have a little fun along the way.

Welcome our new Program Director!

Chelsea has spent more than 10 years in ministry and has always believed that ministry is about more than programs, it’s about people. It’s about showing up, listening to people’s stories, building relationships, and making sure people feel seen, valued, and loved.

She’s excited to serve with us and build relationships with the kids and families she’ll meet there. She’s looking forward to getting to know them as individuals, listening to what matters to them, and being present for both the big moments and the everyday ones.

When she’s not doing ministry, you’ll probably find Chelsea spending time with family and friends, at the beach, or cheering on the San Francisco Giants, although she’ll be the first to admit that being a Giants fan is not always for the faint of heart.

She’s grateful for this opportunity and excited to see where God takes this next chapter.

⚾💚 A Night to Remember at the Ballpark!

What a special night for our Martin Park kids! Getting the opportunity to attend a Fresno Grizzlies baseball game was about experiencing something together, cheering from the stands, laughing with friends, and making memories that our students can carry with them long after the final inning. 🌭⚾✨

A huge THANK YOU to the Fresno Grizzlies for helping create moments like these for children in our community. Experiences outside of our everyday programming give our students an opportunity to see more, do more, and simply enjoy being kids.

We hope our kids remember the excitement of this night for years to come. Thank you, Fresno Grizzlies, and thank you to everyone who continues to support Martin Park and helps us give our students experiences worth remembering! 💚

📖💚 Faith is at the heart of what we do at Martin Park.

Our Bible studies give our students an opportunity to learn about God’s love, His promises, and what it means to live with faith, kindness, integrity, forgiveness, and compassion for others.

As our kids navigate school, friendships, family life, and the challenges of growing up, we want them to know they have a God who loves them and caring adults who are here to walk alongside them. Through Bible stories, conversations, questions, prayer, and practical lessons, we’re helping students build a foundation of faith and character they can carry with them wherever life takes them. 🙏

At Martin Park, we’re investing in the whole child academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually and our Bible studies are an important part of helping our students grow into the young men and women God created them to be.
