Imagine being a teenager, in Foster Care for years, and not having any contact with your dad but wanting to reconnect with him. You are told that Social Services is trying to find him, but they have not been effective. Time passes and nothing ... untl a referral is made to Family Finding! Dad is located in another part of the state. He and his daughter are reconnected by phone, then in person. Visits in his town follow. She bonds with him, his new wife, and their baby -- a brother! The teen ends up moving from her foster home to live with her dad. No issues at all are reported. Dad is said to be a positive influence, and she is reported to be excelling in school. After a short while, dad obtains sole custody, and her foster case is closed! Her dreams became a reality. She is finally home.
