School Area Team, City of Fresno The School Area Team (SAT) is part of the Code Enforcement Division of the Fresno City Attorney's Office.

SAT's definition of success: When residents surrounding every school neighborhood observe a reduction in blight, are equipped to become civically engaged, and qualifying residents are connected to housing resources that improve their quality of life.

The School Area Team (SAT) had a great time tabling at the annual Summerset Village Apartments Summer Community Event last week. SAT enjoyed the opportunity to connect with families and share resources that are available within the community. Thank you to Summerset Village property management for inviting us as well as everyone who stopped by to learn more about services, support, and ways we can continue working together to keep our neighborhoods informed and connected.

This week, the School Area Team (SAT) had the privilege to provide great resources and SAT swag to Saroyan students and families during the Saroyan Open House. Educational materials on common code violations were provided to attendees along with resources to become proactive neighborhood residents. The evening was filled with fun games, food, and information. We want to thank Saroyan Elementary School for allowing us the opportunity to share with the community!

The School Area Team (SAT) held a trailer outreach event at Figarden Loop Park this past week. Information on common code violations and tips to become proactive residents were shared with all attendees. Children enjoyed playing the prize drop game to win free SAT swag! We would like to thank everyone who took the time to meet with us and let us know about their individual neighborhoods. SAT truly enjoys these opportunities to further connect with and serve the community!
