Lenape Mural Project

Lenape Mural Project Supporting Art & Culture in Frenchtown, New Jersey. The Lenape Mural Project started as an idea to paint a mural to celebrate sustainable community.

Muralist Adrienne Crombie's “blank canvas” is the 16 foot high north wall of the Paddle Creek Kayak building at the gateway to Frenchtown at Route 12. The mural has grown into a project to help fund art and music in our local elementary school. With the sponsorship of the Frenchtown Business & Professional Association, Adrienne initiated a fundraiser to support the mural project. All contributions

raised in excess of the budget to produce this mural will be allocated to the Frenchtown Elementary School Arts & Music Program. In addition, 20% of the profits from the sale of prints and posters of the finished Lenape Mural will continue to benefit the FES Arts & Music Program. Contributions are tax deductible and made payable to the Frenchtown Business & Professional Association, P.O. Box 425, Frenchtown, NJ 08825.

many requests for the eagle painted in the mural to celebrate local sightenings

More eagle sightings near Lock 20 south of Kintnersville. One of the adult eagles was waiting for our resident watcher this morning. This parent probably is hunting and gathering to feed its hatchlings.
