The Menifee County Fire Protection District would like to extend a very special “Thank you!” to Library Director Melissa Wells, as well as Emergency Management Director Richard Franklin, in their participation of their training tour and walk-through of the Menifee County Public Library, yesterday. Both individuals spent over an hour with members of the MCFPD, as they toured the building, received updated floor plans, and answered questions about the building’s emergency procedures.
Partnerships with community leaders are essential to the safety of all Menifee County citizens. The members of the MCFPD were able to start developing a plan for their response and operations, in the event that there was an emergency at the Public Library.
Over the next few months, you will see members of the MCFPD continue with training, tours, and pre-planning, for emergencies in the large commercial and government structures of our county. Once again, these tours are essential for the safety of all, including our emergency first responders, as we update our operations plans. Please do not be alarmed. There will be public notices going out 24 hours before we train at a location. Thank you for your cooperation and patience, as we train to improve our service to our county.
