🎆 Join the City of Fremont and Fremont Bank for a special Drone Show celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary. Following the July 2nd Summer Concert Series, more than 350 drones will illuminate the night sky above Lake Elizabeth. The drone show is expected to begin at approximately 9:00 p.m., last about 15 minutes, and conclude before Central Park closes at 10:00 p.m.

🚗 Parking & Traffic Information
• Arrive early and allow extra travel time.
• Carpooling, walking, biking, and rideshare services are encouraged.
• Recommended rideshare/drop-off location: 1740 Steven-son Blvd. near the Dog Park and Basketball Courts. The dog park will be closed on July 2nd, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
• Parking lots closest to the event are expected to fill quickly and may close when capacity is reached.
• No parking will be permitted along Paseo Padre Parkway or Stevenson Boulevard near Central Park. Illegally parked vehicles will be cited and towed.
• Expect larger-than-usual crowds, increased traffic, lane restrictions, and increased pedestrian activity around Central Park.
⚠️ Safety Reminders
• Personal drones are prohibited in and around the event area.
• All fireworks, including "safe and sane" fireworks, are illegal in Fremont.
• Lost & Found and First Aid services will be available at the City of Fremont Booth.
• If you see suspicious activity, call (510) 790-6800 (option 3), text "TIP FREMONTPD" to 888-777, or dial 9-1-1 in an emergency.

Vallejo Mill Historical Park is now open!

Today, the City celebrated the completion of improvements at Vallejo Mill Historical Park with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and Special City Council Meeting.

Located in Fremont's historic Niles district, the revitalized park features four new pickleball courts, a 32,000-square-foot dog park with separate areas for small and large dogs, new pathways, seating, drinking fountains, parking improvements, and ADA-accessible amenities.

🐕🏓 Whether you're hitting the pickleball courts or enjoying time with your four-legged friend, we hope you'll come explore this newest addition to Fremont's park system.

Come celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary with us! 💫 The City of Fremont and Fremont Bank will present a special Drone Show on July 2, 2026 in conjunction with the July 2nd Summer Concert Series. The drone show will begin at approximately 9:00 p.m., following the concert, and will feature a coordinated aerial light display over Lake Elizabeth. ✨

This free community event will provide a unique opportunity for residents and visitors to celebrate our nation’s milestone anniversary. Additional event information, including parking, viewing locations, and event logistics, will be available approximately two weeks prior to the event.

Pedal boats have returned to Central Park!
Beginning June 2, the City of Fremont will offer limited pedal boat rental operations daily from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. throughout the summer. Enjoy a fun day on the water and experience Central Park from a new perspective.☀️
While you're visiting, stop by The Launch Snack Bar, located adjacent to the Lions Picnic Area and the Central Park Visitor Center, for snacks, drinks, and refreshing treats, along with pedal boat rentals. Spend the day relaxing at Central Park, enjoy time out on the water.
