Our Story
Fremont Emergency Services Inc. (FES) is a non-profit volunteer Emergency Medical and Rescue Service organization established in 1964 to provide emergency medical and rescue services to the citizens of northern Wayne County N.C.
Fremont Emergency Services was originally chartered and named Fremont Rescue Squad. As years went by & the needs of EMS became more a primary role our name was changed to Fremont Rescue Squad & EMS, Inc. Then after the County takeover of Emergency Medical Services and our revised mission our name changed again to our current name.
