To everyone who came out to eat, volunteer, donate, bring dishes, make pies, and help in any way — thank you. Because of this amazing community, the evening was a huge success.

🚨 Emergency Alerts Are Changing – Sign Up Today! 🚨

Starting January 1, Waupaca County will be transitioning to a new emergency alerting system, Motorola Rave (Smart911), and will no longer be using CodeRED.

This system allows us to send timely, reliable emergency notifications directly to you during critical incidents such as severe weather, missing persons, and other public safety emergencies.

🔔 Important: This system is opt-in.
The effectiveness of emergency alerts depends on how many people are signed up.

✅ What you should do:
1. Sign up for Motorola Rave (Smart911)
2. Encourage family, friends, and neighbors to sign up
3. Share this post to help spread the word

A one-time message will be sent to the limited contact information we currently have from CodeRED advising users of this change, but signing up is the best way to ensure you receive future alerts.
