💧 Reminder from the Fremont Water Department
As lawn irrigation increases this season, Fremont’s Water Department encourages residents to support efficient water use with the following recommendations.
• Follow an Even/Odd watering schedule
Odd-numbered addresses: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Even-numbered addresses: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
• Stagger irrigation start times
• Water during evening or overnight hours when possible to help reduce evaporation

Water is a valuable natural resource, and small efforts can go a long way 💦

🚪 Did You Know?

Door-to-door solicitors in Fremont are required to obtain a permit from the City before conducting sales in residential neighborhoods.

If someone comes to your door, don't hesitate to ask to see their City-issued solicitor permit. Permitted solicitors have completed the City's licensing process and are required to carry their permit and present it upon request.

The City's permitting process helps promote safe and responsible door-to-door sales while providing accountability for those conducting business in our community.

Please note: Certain groups, including unpaid volunteers representing schools, churches, scout groups, and other nonprofit organizations, may be exempt from permit requirements.

🚧 Sanitary Sewer Work Update – 1st Street & Luther Road

Sanitary sewer work at 1st Street and Luther Road is progressing as planned and is expected to be completed tomorrow.

Motorists should be aware that temporary traffic interruptions may occur throughout the day on Thursday, June 18. These closures are expected to be brief and only as needed to safely complete the remaining work.

We appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation as crews work to complete this important infrastructure improvement.

🚧 Traffic Alert – 1st Street & Luther Road

Crews will be returning to the area of 1st Street and Luther Road to continue sanitary sewer work beginning Tuesday, June 16, with work expected to be completed by Thursday, June 18.

• Full road closure from **8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Wednesday, June 17 & Thursday, June 18
• Temporary closures may occur periodically throughout the day.
• These closures are expected to be brief and only as needed for construction activities.

🚧Water Department Update🚧

A portion of E. 1st Street at Luther Road will be closed to through traffic June 9–10 from 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. daily for sanitary sewer maintenance.

The roadway will reopen each evening after work is completed. Please use alternate routes and expect minor delays.

Broad Street is scheduled to reopen by close of business on Friday, June 12.

The contractor will continue working in the area over the next few weeks to complete final project requirements. Temporary lane impacts may occur as needed, but traffic will be maintained with flaggers in place, and the roadway should remain open.
