The California Nursery Garden Club tends the gardens around the historic nursery office in cooperation with the City of Fremont and the Math Science Nucleus. Rock and partners bought 463 acres in Niles to found the California Nursery Company in 1884. Roeding, owner of Fancher Creek and other nurseries, bought the nursery in 1917. In the 1930s, the Fancher Creek name was dropped and the California

Nursery Company was used for all locations. The nursery grounds contain the Vallejo adobe. The park is owned by the City of Fremont. The Math Science Nucleus manages portions of the park.
