At Washington, we implement a Positive Behavior Intervention and Support System (PBIS) to establish and maintain a safe and effective school environment that maximizes academic achievement and behavioral competence of all students. at Washington School; Follow Directions, I am Responsible, Safety First, and Have Respect. We believe that all students are able to learn at high levels of achievement. Washington School offers many extended learning opportunities aimed at reading this goal.

Today we had our final school community celebration! We recognized positive behavior, amazing academic and language growth, outstanding musicians, proficiency on the ELPA21 assessment, and congratulated our 4th graders who are wrapping up their time at Washington! We were also able to give out two Friends of Washington awards to people and organizations who go above and beyond to support us! It was a great morning! This year we recognized Fremont First United Methodist Church and Lt. Ed Watts from Fremont Police. Thank you for your time and dedication to our students and staff! To wrap things up, Wolfie our mascot made a visit!
